Before you start
- You are the account owner.
Choose the export you need
The account owner can download list CSVs. For a broader account archive, contact support. You can request an export while continuing to use Zentive; requesting an export does not cancel your subscription or close the account.
Download a list
- 1
Customers
Open Customers → Customer list. Export all customers as CSV downloads every linked customer across pages. Select customers and choose Export CSV in the selection bar to download only those selected IDs, including selections from other pages.
- 2
Employees
Open Schedule → Employees. Export all employees as CSV includes owner, co-owner, and crew records across pages and statuses. If you select employees, the button shows the selected count and exports only those records. The file includes date hired, date of birth when recorded, and employment fields; keep it private.
- 3
Jobs
Open Schedule → Jobs. Export all jobs as CSV includes all jobs across pages and statuses. The list’s search and date filters do not restrict this all-record export. Export this page as PDF is a separate, smaller download of the visible page.
- 4
Invoices and reports
Download individual invoice PDFs from the invoice view. For invoice records, line items, payments, and refunds together, request the account archive. Report CSV/PDF downloads summarize the selected report period and are not a full account backup.
CSV details
All-record CSV exports include retained inactive and deleted records. Customer files contain contact details and address fields; the account archive also includes customer account status and account numbers. Dates are in UTC. IDs connect related records across archive files. Open the CSV import dialog in your spreadsheet and treat IDs and phone numbers as text to preserve their formatting.
Text beginning with spreadsheet formula characters is prefixed with an apostrophe. This prevents names, notes, or phone numbers from being interpreted as formulas.
Request an account archive
- 1
Contact support from the owner account
Use Contact support below or email support@zentive.io. Include your business name, owner login email, and “Account data export.” Tell us whether you also need original attachments or invoice PDFs.
- 2
Confirm the request
Support verifies the requesting owner and confirms the scope and delivery method. Do not send passwords, card numbers, or bank details. Support confirms timing based on the size of the account; no automatic delivery deadline is promised.
- 3
Check the ZIP contents
The operational archive contains CSVs plus manifest.json listing each file and its record count. It covers business details, employees, customers and locations, jobs, schedules, quotes, invoices, line items, payments, refunds, expenses, crews, time records, notes, companies and contacts, service agreements, equipment, and stored job/quote file references.
- 4
Request any additional files
Original attachments and generated PDFs are not bundled in the standard ZIP. Ask support to include them separately. The archive excludes passwords, login/portal tokens, integration credentials, card/bank details, internal platform logs, message delivery logs, and records held only by external services. It is a portable data export, not a one-click restore file.
