- You know the equipment name, status, and who is responsible for it.
What you'll do
You will create useful equipment records and use reporting to understand availability, utilization, and maintenance needs.
Do this

Open Equipment & Assets
Go to Settings, then Equipment & Assets, or open the equipment utilization report.

Add the asset
Enter the name, type, status, and any identifying details your crew uses in the field.

Assign responsibility
Record who normally uses or maintains the item so the office knows who to ask.

Review utilization
Use equipment reports to see which assets are active, idle, or tied to expensive work.
Start small
Track high-value or schedule-critical equipment first. You do not need to inventory every small tool before the feature becomes useful.
