Go to reports and choose the revenue or income view.

Set the date range you actually want to compare
Use a week, month, or season that helps you answer a real business question.

Read the totals before you dig into details
Start with the main number first, then look for the customers, jobs, or periods driving it.
Best comparison
Comparing the same month or season year over year usually tells you more than looking at one isolated total.
