Before you start

  • You know which outside system needs to send information into Zentive.
  • You have admin permission for the outside system.

What public integrations are for

Public integrations help websites, lead forms, and automation tools send specific requests or leads into Zentive without sharing a staff login.

Before connecting

  • Confirm what data should be created in Zentive.
  • Decide who reviews new leads or service requests.
  • Use the least access needed for the outside tool.
  • Test with one sample record before sending real customers through the form.

If records are not appearing

  1. 1

    Check the destination

Confirm whether the integration should create a lead, service request, message, or customer record.

  2. 2

    Verify required fields

Missing name, email, phone, address, or service details can stop a record from being useful.

  3. 3

    Review recent submissions

Compare the outside form submission time with the time you expected the record to appear in Zentive.
