Before you start
- Crew time entries are complete.
- QuickBooks is connected.
- Employee names match the payroll records your office expects.
What you'll do
You will review crew time, fix missing entries, then use payroll sync tools only after the pay period looks complete.
Do this

Open payroll prep
Go to Reports, then open Payroll Prep or the QuickBooks payroll sync report.

Choose the pay period
Select the same date range your office uses for payroll.

Review missing time
Look for crew members with no start, finish, or break information before syncing.

Fix exceptions
Correct time entries or job assignments while the crew can still confirm what happened.

Run the sync
Send the reviewed payroll data to QuickBooks and check the activity log for failures.
Avoid duplicate cleanup
Do not sync the same pay period repeatedly unless you are specifically retrying failed records. Check the activity log before running another export.
