Update payment method

Help a customer update their card or payment details from the portal without getting stuck.

Before you start

  • The customer can sign in to the portal.

What you'll do

The customer will update their saved payment details so future charges or invoices can process cleanly.

Do this

    Sign in to the portal

    Open the customer portal and sign in first.

  2. 2

    Open payment settings

    Go to the payment or billing info area.

  3. 3

    Add the new card

    Enter the replacement card details and save them.

  4. 4

    Confirm the update

    Make sure the new payment method appears as expected.
