Before you start

  • QuickBooks is connected.
  • You have permission to view integration settings.

What you'll do

You will use the QuickBooks controls to see what synced, what failed, and which records need a retry or correction.

Do this

  1. 1

    Open QuickBooks settings

    Go to Settings, then QuickBooks.

  2. 2

    Check connection status

Confirm the connected company is the one your office uses for accounting.

  3. 3

    Review recent activity

Use the activity log to find recent customer, invoice, payment, or payroll sync attempts.

  4. 4

    Open failures first

Start with failed records because they are the ones most likely to affect bookkeeping.

  5. 5

    Retry after fixing data

Correct missing customer, invoice, tax, or account details before retrying the sync.

Month-end habit

Before closing the month, filter for failed or pending QuickBooks activity and clear those records while the work is still easy to recognize.
