Record a cash, check, or terminal payment
Use Collect Payment on an invoice to record money taken in person (cash, check, or Stripe Terminal), apply the cash discount, and keep the payment history and QuickBooks in sync.
What syncs to QuickBooks and what stays in Zentive
Customers, products and services, invoices, payments, refunds, credits, cash discounts, and approved time sync. Quotes, jobs, routes, photos, notes, and Stripe fees do not.
Create and manage discounts
Save percentage or fixed-dollar discount codes in Settings → Discounts, apply them from Add Discount on a quote or invoice, and know how they flow to Stripe and QuickBooks.
Discount code is not working
The code is inactive, misspelled, being applied in the wrong place, or the invoice was already sent. How to check each.
How Zentive defines revenue in reports
Every money report uses one definition: payments received minus refunds, excluding sales tax and tips, dated by the recorded payment. What that includes and excludes.
Pay an invoice
Open the invoice from the email or text and pay by card, bank (ACH), Apple Pay, or Google Pay. No account needed. Pay part, add a tip, or save a card for autopay.

Need a different way to search?
- Try plain language instead of product terms.
- Search by the problem, not just the feature name.
- Use short phrases like "invoice unpaid" or "crew route missing".
