Before you start

  • The crew member signed in before losing service.
  • The job was visible on the phone before going offline.

What offline mode is for

Offline support helps crews keep working through weak signal, then send queued status updates, notes, and photos when the phone reconnects.

If updates are not showing

  1. 1

    Do not sign out

Stay signed in while waiting for service to return. Signing out can make it harder to recover queued work.

  2. 2

    Reconnect and reopen Zentive

Move to better service or Wi-Fi, then reopen the app and wait for pending updates to finish.

  3. 3

    Check large photos

Large photo uploads may take longer than notes or status changes. Keep the app open until the queue clears.

  4. 4

Tell the office what was entered

If an update still does not appear, tell the office the job, time, status, and photos or notes that were entered.

Best field habit

Open the day's jobs before driving into low-service areas. Offline mode works best when the job data has already loaded on the phone.
